I hope that you have to put units on them to use them! That would be good in my oppinion. Maybe every ship is a trasport ship? For lets face it, it is realisticly is it not?

I remember back in the AoM days, some ES guy say something about they made the AoM ships tiny because it would be impossible to make sensible naval battles in rivers and small areas with water, when the ships was huge, in this context i belive small boats are only allowed to sail the shallow ares.

But didn't ES say "what you see is what you get"?

Note. Ships in AoM were going to be as big as they showed them to be because you could load a catapult, or a balista on it, and then it would change the type of the ship. Eventually this was to hard to code in so they ditched it. Maybe its back for AoE 3.

Well, I donno about the big ship/small ship thing, becuase I can see both arguments, but the Indian boat...what if that IS their early transport? and they just add details like that?

i dont see why only haveing 5-6 ships is all that bad of a thing, in cossacks ships were very expensive and you could onyl get a few, but the naval battles were the most impressive ive seen. I mean, if your armies are only 100 people then its doesnt make sense to have 50 ships as well considering the relative costs in real life.
