I was wondering, how historically accurate will the campaign be? Is it going to be based around real events, exactly true to real events to the most minute detail or will it be made up?
Personalyl I think one based around real events would work best.
they said that the campaign will follow a ficticious scottish dude through rreal life events washington has a 'cameo' in the campaigns so they will be semi h istorical

ya thats what it said, i think thats kinda of stupid though, they should base the campaigne around historical events. Just like in AoK and AoC.

Campaigns with one story are more interesting than a bunch of smaller campaigns.

This is totally true. Besides, it's much easier to download a decent historical scenario off a site like this one, than it is to find someone who's made a 30+ level campaign with great heroes and characters & an enthralling storyline, etc.
Example: Age of Mythology.
A lot older, though no wiser.

But AoM wasn't an historical game. AOE3 is. I have nothing against the campaign with that Scottish dude, but I would have hoped at least for a few historical ones.
