Deathshrimp, could you answer these to questions please?
I'm assuming that most politicians are shared by most, if now all of the civs, but are there some unique politicians that only one civ has access to?
I saw a screenshot with the age up box open and there was a native American politician next to two European ones. Was the native American one of that civs politicians or was that he acquired from an indian settlement?

I didn't like the nation selection in AOE 2 because I only got to select one of the nations so I only got one of the game's 15 unique units.... lol....
I did see saw a politician called the "Exiled Prince," that gives you no bonus but rather a faster age up.
