Are they gonna switch back to that old appear/dissapear crap? I hope not...

Where have you seen anything that would make you think the horses disappear, any videos, pictures, etc.? (That was not meant rudely, sorry if it sounded that way.)

I remember in RoN, the cannons would be pulled by horses, then they'd unpack and the horses would simply stand behind them, while the men would load and fire it. I hope, but don't know, that it's the same with AoE3.

In the interview i think. Or somewhere but i read it yesterday.

seems kinda strange for the horses to disappear. could ES find some other way to let the player know if its in fast or slow mode?

Yeah, the interview, I didn't understand it at all... surely they cannot mean that horses magically disappear and reappear? I doubt ES would allow that in the finest looking RTS so far.

It shouldn't be normal but, cause i can't see any gameplay adavantage of it.

Horses do not disapear, according to screenshots I've seen... They stand to the side of the cannons.

I hope the horses catch fire and burn up then magically reconstruct when you need to move again just because it would annoy a ton of people. If the horse disappears it really does not matter. Units appear out of thin air at the production buildings. The amazing graphics will still be intact even if there's a disappearing act and would you rather have horses disappear or those hideous symbols over unpacked cannon?

Dont worry horses do not dissapear when the cannons unpack. They move out of the way of the cannons though.
