1. As I hear, you build a Trading Post to control trade routes and to ally with natives. That makes some sense. But if you research technologies and train units from the native civ, what happens if you lose your Post? Do you also lose the techs and/or units you got from the Natives?
2. Now, as we all know, your workers gather all resources gradually without drop-sites (Yahoo! Thanx ES Quote: Every time a trade unit passes a Trading Post, experience or a resource chosen by the player are generated for the player. This says to me that while your villagers gather gradually, trade units gather in spurts; they "drop-off" their trade goods at the Post. I really hope this is not true. I like all your resources coming in slowly and steadily and would hate to have to wait for trade units to move along a road. Those descriptions have been wrong before, and I hope this one of those cases. Anybody know for sure?
