Is it just me or do battles last longer while games last shorter in AOE3 (single player) than AOK or AOM. Maybe its just the AI.
Also does ayone think that the AI is a little weaker than the one in the first demo or have i just improved?

Dude I think games are so much longer! In Age of Mythology most of my games lasted about 1 hour and now they last about 2 hours!

The games are much shorter on average, especially compared to AOK's. There are of course good and bad sides to this. Shorter games mean time for yet more games, but some of my favorite multi games on AOK were grueling, 3-4 hour epics. It was always fun to win one of those.

Too bad there's no map size options at all this time.

AOE 3 games are way longer than AoM. I don't think many games will go as long as AOK though. Though games could go on for hours. :-Þ

GreenGuy you are absolutely right man. I loved the 3 hour Afe Of Kings games, there was just something about them. What I do with III is get a couple friends together and we all know one another so we let the game drag out and have massive battles in a designated, empty field or area of the map. Really adds to the actual battle strategy. Not just build, build, rush, build, build, build, rush, rush, rush. No offense to anyone's style.
