A watched my buddies play a game. One player's explorer was pounded into submission. Over time the explorer's health recovered in full, but the explorer never got off the ground ... he wouldn't move.

Is this expected? A bug?

Of course, ransom from the TC brings him back. But that's a different issue.

Your explorer regenerates health on the ground. In fact, you can't revive him in 1 second like you could with AOM heroes because you have to wait for him to recharge to a tenth of his health bar or something.

It was annoying, in AOM, having two heroes that always revived each when they fall, just to die 2 seconds later. I'm pretty sure why ES has the minimum health thing now.

    *lol* .. right.
But in AoE3 I have a new prob: hostile explorer/s just arriving ~ fortress age and snooping around where I planned to build fort&walls and placed my defense force. *argh* Again and again they R.I.P. just there where I wanna build.
And the AI is too dumb (not programmed) to take back the nosy guy
