Topic Subject:10 percent upgrades

i have noticed a very strange thing. When you upgrade for example cuirasiers with the 10 percent increased attack/hp ugrade, they have 550 hp before you upgrade them and 750 (!!) hp after the improvement. from 550 to 750 is not at all 10 percent, itss more like 40 percent. Can somebody explain this?

Its because of the royal guard upgrade. It really upgrades a lot more.

it says it only upgrades 10 percent of the hitpoints. A bit misleading i think. At first i waited long before i did this one cos i thought upgrading 50 hp isnt worth 1000 gold and 1000 wood.

Well when you get the royal guard upgrade you are really getting the normal guard upgrade (+30% I think) plus an extra 10%. So yeah 40% makes sence.

Reason is simple. The upgrade is really 40% and that is what should be said.

Regular guard upgrades (cost 600 coin and 600 wood) are 30% upgrades.

Royal guard upgrades (cost 1000 coin and 1000 wood) are 40% upgrades.

This is what should be written, they put 10% by mistake. The correct interpretation is this : Royal upgrades are 10% on top of the regular 30% guard upgrades. Would be simpler writing 40%. As it is written now, it is misleading.

But if you pay more attention, you'll see something like this:

    veteran cuirassier set to active
    guard cuirassier set to active
(and maybe) royal cuirassier set to active

So, you're getting the base guard upgrade (30%) + the royal upgrade (10%)
