Well, I've been wondering this since I got the game. And since I know a lot of forumers here are quite adept with languages such as German, Dutch, Spanish and all, I thought maybe we could make a thread like this for the languagely-challenged (ie. me) to look at. I'll try to make this into a neatly ordered list if enough people help out with this.

Well I live in New York, and I got up 2 hours ago. Also, There is no such thing as a "US Timezone". In fact, there are four separate timezones in the continental US (mountain, central, Pacific, and eastern), and another one for Hawaii, as well as one for Alaska.

But you are probably correct- he is either still sleeping or is lazy. I suspect the former of the two.

Well the Russian units say stuff like "Drovosek" (Woodcutter) when you send 'em to wood, or "Ohotnik" (Hunter) when you send them to hunt.

The military units, say things like "Prikaz?" (Order?).

The Russian explorer, when he dies, says "Ya ranen, nemogu idti" (I'm wounded, can't walk).

When you ransom him, he says "Spasibo shto menia vicupil" (Thank you for ransoming me).

Because I thought that for example the Mayan and Incan and Aztec languages don't exist anymore.
