Otherwise, people will join the chat room who aren't even part of heavengames. Imagine that you've just won a game that lasted about three hours and when you checked for your opponents ESO name in the ladder thread, you found out that he wasn't even signed up. Right now, the only why to tell if someone is signed up is to check the thread. While checking your opponents ESO name to make sure he's signed up for the ladder, he may decide to play with someone else because he had to wait too long. What are your thoughts?

nah, it takes 10 seconds to check. that would make it harder to find a ladder game. plus the chat room is a good way for people to find heavengames.
