Now im posting this because im really pissed off. This just happened to me after nearly an hour and half of game play and we were probably gonna wrap it up and win in at least half an hour.
Anyway i have a point, im not just whining and snivelling. Probably 1 out of five games some body just goes out for no reason and this happens to me quite a bit. Is this an problem with ESO or the internet or what?
I have a good computer and fast internet that i never have trouble with. Is this preventable? plz give me ur thoughts.
Sorry for all the snivelling im just PISSED OFF.

Its not preventable...and yes it is annoying and sometimes its done by the other guy if hes losing.

dude...it must be your computer if it happens 1 out of 5 games. Out of over 400 games I haven't had OOS more then 10 times, and 1 of those times was because of Fort Wars, and two others were obviously intentionally done by the losing team.

I've been having a lot of truble with this too! And it's not the other player either, I know that! I always play with my cousin against computer enemys so it's not the other player disconnecting. It's done it 5 games in a row before! It's getting really annoying...

Is there anything ESO can do about this? or is it out of their control?

I had it happen twice out of two games last weekend, both lasted more than 2 mins, but neither were registered by cutech, or agecomunity.

When a game out of syncs, it's not counted. That's why some people try to make it happen on purpose when they're losing.
It's a real shame, but I don't think ES can do anything about it.

ESO has started banning people for things of this nature. Maybe a few weeks ago there was an angry fellow posting here because ESO had banned him for dropping on purpose (or something along those lines). Don't ask me how they are able to find out who is doing it, but my guess is that they keep logs of games played and they somehow can flag people who cut their own connection off early. Who is to say they can't do the same for people opening multiple browsers and such to attmept to cause OOS?
At any rate, OOS is part of playing online. It has always been there and probably always will be there for a small percentage of our games played.

I suppose that some people cannot handle losing, so they simply remove their internet cable. Its kind of pathetic really, but thats what people do...
