I played a single player game first to get the hang of it but now when I play multiplayer I ALWAYS lose. I really dont understand... I can usually fight off an early rush with cetan bows and then i'll start going a little more on the offensive and fight my opponents quite a bit.
I'll build up about 80 villagers while fighting and advance (eventually) to industrial age. I usually mass rifle riders and cetan bows.
I put my villagers on wood/food/gold depending on what resources i'm low on and what resources i use alot. By the late fortress/early industrial age i usually have at least 20 villies on the firepit.
My enemy keeps beating back my attacks and my allies. After a little while, my opponents suddenly have huge armies and i have almost none. I have a suspicion about my rifle riders. It seems like i lose battles even though I have more resources and armies.
Can anybody see anything i'm doing wrong or give me and useful tips pleeez?
It could be just that i happen to be up against really good opponents but it seems like i should have won sometimes...
I'm not as dumb as you look
