It looks like it is Level 1 HC's, and the map list is:
Great Plains, Texas, California, Araucania, Andes, Northwest Territory, Painted Desert (Rounds 1 to 7)
Oh, and you have to live in the US to be eligible for entry....

Really? So you have to play with a lvl 1 HC? That will be funny.

I REALLY hope that whole HC detail is a mistake ... Makes most cards basically useless, and kicks some civs out of the "competitive" list immeadiately.
Otherwise, awesome, signed up.

Another US only? I'm beginning to dislike Americans...j/k but upset
Should boost TWC visibility in the gaming community.
I'm old enough, but live in Canada, and doubt I'd make it very far in the Tourney anyways lol...

Stonewall, just put the name of your father or uncle
Even if they call you, just say it to your father and he will say he played with your account and its ok lol
btw, alot of top players are already looking to find an american guy so they can play under their account and then share the prize in the end ^^
btw, stupid rule its an online tourney anyway not a LAN. I don't understand this rule to be honest, intel is a worldwide company, they can send the cash everywhere.

there are legal issues... they are just taking the easy way out
if you think about it, there are not actually that many contests available internationally of any sort, except for established annual ones such as sports, poker etc.
I agree though, there are very few 2300+ players who qualify for the contest.

You have to be 18 and over to compete? How will they send you your matches? And how will you know. I really want that Duo Procs. It'll replace that need for a ps3.
Lamer: FF. Me: Why? Lamer: Cause you'll be in 1 age ahead of the other guys and have a better eco, plus you can turtle and since its on your TC + couple of towers you can't go wrong. Me: Uh, we're on the G Plains, how the heck am I gonna turtle?

I don't think there is an age requirement, I put in my real birthday and was accepted ..
Anyway, the fact HC's and cards are virtually pointless means that the whole skill aspect of building decks with brains and choosing decks and cards to use is completely killed off. Very dissapointing. Should make things very interesting I suppose.

2Brtnboarder495: You have to be 18+, there's a link to some basic rules in a menu on the left side.
