A) The majority of his 1v1 games have been against significantly worse players. This is demonstrated in his PR. This is also why his PR is so low, but cuetech is not, becuase oddly enough, PR gives a better indication of skill earlier on, but fails to represent current skill as your play more and more games, this is where cuetech becomes more effective.
B) Many of his games are 2v2, which are not exactly as independent skill and important as 1v1. Team players don't make good 1v1 players, 1v1 players always make at least decent or good team players with some deck modification.
C) The ladder has been open for nearly a month, not even near enough time for everyone to fall correctly in "placement". There are tons of exceptions, glitches, and ladder mess ups as a result of this.
D) According to PR (which I will use for this comparison because my cuetech was messed up after missing two wins against 1900's, and a drop tricker, and because it often fails to compare the difference in skill relevent to the "age" of the ladder), I am higher ranked than kingsteve3721.
Not that that matters, like I said, I could care less about the whereabouts and stats of even "experts".
Congrats for him though.
