There is a card for the Germans that enables you to train settler wagons at mills. I was wondering how good this is and how much they cost. If you could answer these questoins that would be nice. ty

If you are planning to go late game then this is a good economic boost. You are able to make settler vagons from mill at the cost of 100 wood. The limit is 20 SW(2 pop/slots each one). It gives you like 40 more normal settlers. If you use this card you also have to use the card that makes them 25 % faster (I dont remember the name of card right now)

i think it takes 100 food and wood to make them, but it is worth it because you spend less on mills and plantations

One of the best things about thhis card:

  • Extra villies (40 inthe form of 20 wagons)
  • SW have more hp than settlers and are harder to kill
  • Save wood on plantation or mill
  • can boom as if from 3 TCs and while aging up
  • Can still build them after a revolution
  • can be combined with the card Guild Artisans to give you an extra 25% gathering rate on everything with them

Those are soem of the pluses to the SW and building htem. hope that helps

Just average, not a super one
It takes so much wood to fully utilize

It's an excellent card. It takes some time to take effect, but when it does, German economy is extremely scary. Sure SW boom is costly and in 1v1 games risky, but in team games the card is a must.Guild artisans was boosted in TWC, now it improves settler wagon gather rates by +35%. That effectively makes your 20 settler wagons worth 54 settlers instead of 40. 14 extra villagers is like 2 factories...

In team (esp. treaty) game it can be realy good.
German player can became economy backbone of team (using multiple economy cards) and make more profit from them, becose they are applied on 139 pop economy, not on standard 99 pop economy. Other player can use no eco boosting cards and use military boosting ones instead and build less setlers and more soldiers (using resources from german).
