Haha sorry for all these questions. I was watching some replays and noticed that people can make units from several barracks at the same time. How do you do this? I've tried resetting some hotkeys, but apparently I'm not setting the right ones. Can somebody explain to me how to do this?
P.S. What is Shift-Clicking?
Thanks.

What I do is, right after I've told a vil to build a barracks, I'll click the foundation of the rax before it's done building, hold shift and press "6". If I build a second barracks, I'll do the same thing to that one too. This puts all the barracks I make in control group 6 so that I can press 6 and then the shortcut key for the unit I want to make, and each rax will make 1 of those units.
I use stables the same way, but for those I use "7".

I think you mean "hold CTRL and press '6'." And to select multiple units of the same type, double click. To select multiple units of different types, either click-drag or if you are trying to select 2 types of groups of units you can double click the first type of unit, then hold shift and double click the second type of unit.
And to make units from multiple rax at the same time, select all your rax, and then queue then up.
