Now, everyone who's tried to play Sioux (what, you thought the thread would not be about the civ I currently play? ) realizes how poor they are at defeating rushes (well, except the Ottoman and Iroquois ones, ironically).
So here are a couple of balance ideas I had:
1. Would anyone consider it unbalanced if the TC BB Dog Soldier tech was changed to a static number, rather than an over time tech (10 @ 30 minutes currently)? Say 5 Dog Soldiers for 1000 food?
Do keep in mind that Dog Soldiers in Colonial have fairly low attack (28 x1.5 vs infantry) and decent HP (550, 20% resistance).
2. Would anyone find it unbalanced if Mustangs reduced the cost of ALL cavalry? By which I mean, they would now affect firepit trained Dog Soldiers. What if Mustangs removed 5 seconds from that 22 second train time? Dog Soldiers would now be trained in 17 seconds by 25 villagers. Considering that you'd be sending a card, would this be unbalanced or fair?
P.S.
Didn't want to put this in the other Sioux thread, since it would get buried inside an ongoing conversation.
"One wants to be loved, failing that admired, failing that feared, failing that hated and despised. One wants to instill in other people some form of emotion. The soul shudders before emptiness and wants contact, no matter the cost."
