Alright. We all know iro is a grave problem, and we all want to see them get a nerf in several spots, including
-Eagle eye WC shot
-Second FP nerf
-Great house
-People able to build Great house (vills and WC)
-Travoi dance
-Starting travoi and rax at second hunts
I have found a way to fix at least several of these problems with this new idea. What is it you say? You think you've heard it all? No! its not taking away the starting travois, butkilling it.
What if we nerfed thehitpoints of the starting, and following travois of the Iriquoi? This way, with around three to seven shots from the explorer, the starting travois will be dead, never to make a warhut near your precious huntables!
This will keep it fair for the iros, by allowing them the flexability they have, yet still allow the exploring folks to take it out in due time of finding it.
Heck, we could also add in another multiplier vs building travois(es?) so that your explorer can finish it off as it's building!
One last thing that could be implemented is the reduction of hitpoints in the warhuts at the discovery age. Since iro's get free travois(es) to start off with, how about making the actual buildings themselves have less hitpoints. They WERE free (remember, germany's uhlans suck, and they're free too).
So, to sum it up for those of you non reading folks,
1.Nerf the hitpoints of the travois in order to stop it before its built
2.Nerf the build time or give a bigger bonus to attackers on travois in progress of building, in order to allow a player who scouted and found the warhut time to take it down
3. nerf the hitpoints of all free age up travoi buildings, as they ARE free, and thus deserve some type of little but important penalty.
I believe something such as this will help the problem of the hunts. I am thinking early game, so if there is something i missed in this that would affect the lategame somehow, please post it! let me know!
