@ Mighty Fireball: The card is unique to the Spanish.
@ Domo Roboto: You can't, because unlike War Cheif Auras, it doesn't explicitly show the difference on the units' stats.
@ Ace of Kings: So why not send 300 gold instead of 700 gold... the concept is you get gold, who cares about how much, right?
So, I ran some tests today and got some weird results:
1 Unupgraded Pikeman + 1 Missionary Aura= 34 Siege Damage
1 Unupgraded Pikeman + 2 Missionary Aura= 36 Siege Damage
1 Unupgraded Pikeman + 3 Missionary Aura= 38 Siege Damage
.......
1 Unupgraded Pikeman + 10 Missionary Aura= 52 Siege Damage
So, with the Pikeman, it increased his attack by two everytime, which is 6.25% of a Pikeman's normal siege attack.
Now, here it got weird:
I did some tests with one Rodelero. Now, on occasion, it seemed the aura did not effect him, even though he had the little aura circle thing around him, and he did ten damage, and other times he got a 10% increase, and dealt 11 to buildings. A similar thing occured with Hussars. Occasionally, the Hussar only did one extra damage (21, 5%), but sometimes, he dealt 2 extra damage, 10%.
This makes me think that there is some very small variable involved with damage that was not enough to ever make a Pikeman's attack round down, but was significant enough to round down the Rodelero's and the Hussar's. Maybe a damage equation is something like:
K*Base Damage Stat*Attack Multiplier
Very strange. Does anybody at least know if there is a variable like that in damage... or did something funky occur? Maybe Missionaries like Pikemen better than Rodeleros and Hussars...
Anyway, with 10 Missionaries, the Pikeman's attack is almost double, so I think this card could be worth sending, particularly in a Deathmatch, and useful in Supremacy as well.
