A silly thought came to me earlier. In older Age games, you could build a wall around an opponents barracks etc to prevent units from being created.
I just double-checked that the same effect occurs in Age3/TWC, and it seems as though it does. Yet I haven't seen any attempts to wall off Iro forward warhuts in the games I've watched; perhaps there's a good reason for this that someone can enlighten me on
However, I figure that Warhuts do little enough damage to villagers (with Great Coat if needed) that two oughta be able to knock up a wall to considerably delay their present colonial rush, preventing both local-build and forward shipments. Often the Iro player bothers little to hide that forward warhut.
Clearly this will not be an issue when the patch arrives. Just wondering what people think about this, whether or not they've tried it, what kind of success they've had etc. The only problem I had when trying this out was building a wall in the way that I wanted, was a bit fiddly.
