I made a quick and dirty random civ generator for playing random civ games. This might have been done before. Anyways, it's for bringing back random civ games, which is alot more doable with the HC changes on ESO.
It's brutally basic, but it gets the job done.
Just launch the app, select the civs you want to randomize, pick the number of players and whether you want to allow repeated civs. In the game, use the hotkey CTRL+ALT+Space to generate a new random civ list, then paste it in the game room chat via CTRL+V.
Everyone in the room can then switch to their selected civ, and it's game on. Here's an example of what's pasted:
1)Jap 2)Ott 3)Chi 4)Por 5)Spa 6)Sio 7)Por 8)Chi 07Nov07/18:40:56/DBD/ETLAJhcLiPk
There's the civ list, the date, time, and a signature string. The signature lets anyone in the room verify that the civ list is genuine (it's a jumble of letters--no lowercase "L" though or uppercase "I" because they look the same).
If you want to be paranoid, just stick the sig in a copy of the Random Civ Generator, and it'll replicate the settings used to generate the list. It'll also give you the time the list was created etc, because you never know.
Find it here.
If you find a bug, let me know.
