Thanks! All of the consulate options seem decent. Is the Germany one -30% to banner army cost or just -30?

Old Han's Army: 255F 180W

After allying with the Germans: 240F 165W

EDIT: It's just -15F/W = -30 resources.

good list but havent you put the dutch military bonuses down under spainsh as well?

i was thrown by them having the same as dutch?

also for japan you've said the port Expeditionary Fleet with ironclad comes with 11 jintes?
under india its just ironclad is 1 of these wrong or do they differ?

Anyway I also tried what you get with the Intervention cards... This should probably go to another thread, but I'll put it here too since it's related.

British: 9 redcoat musketeers (worth 600 export)
Portuguese: 11 besteiro xbows (629 export)
French: 5 young garde grenadiers (500 export)
Ottoman: 4 gardener hussars (533 export)
Russian: 6 siberian cossacks (600 export)
German: 4 zweihander doppelsoldner (533 export)
Dutch: 9 stadhouder musketeers (600 export)
Spanish: 11 tercio pikemen (629 export)
Japanese isolation: 10 konsha yamabushi (600 export)

So basically the best deals are Portuguese and Spanish, with French being the worst. With French, you get only 5 young garde, whereas with 400 export you get 4 of them.

1.) Does anyone know how export is generated? Is it just based on time alone (like XP generated at 2XP per second) or by building units, collecting resources, etc. I know you can increase the export by decreasing the amount of resources accumulated (or with shipments), but is export related to resource generation without this bonus (the consulate has options for increased export generation)?


2.) In the shipments above, which can be sent unlimited times and which are 1 time only shipments (i.e. bank, church, etc.)? It would be helpful to list this.


3.) Does anyone know a cheat code to grant export like you can be granted resources (i.e. "medium rare please", "give me liberty or give me coin", etc.)? It is tough to make in-game tests if you are limited to 100 export at starting and have to actually play to run a test.

Working villagers generate export at a rate of 0.03 without changing the settings at the consulate.

The military shipments can definitely be sent more than once. I'm not sure about the others

I think if you put the export gathering on 10%, you lose 10% on the normal resources and get that as export.

So gathering 100F on 0% would give you 100F 0E, and on 10% it would give you 90F and 10E.

You can send the expeditionary armies & brigade unlimited times (AFAIK), the others only once.

I saw that in the proto file but did not know what to make of it.

I will need to test this in game but it seems if you have 99 villagers, you will auto gather 2.97 export (trade) per second (99 * 0.03), or ~178 per minute, regardless of what they are tasked on. Now, looking at the consulate gathering boost abilities:

A 5% reduction in all resources generates a 35% increase in export. A 10% reduction in all resources boosts export by 65%

So for a 10% penalty across the board (regardless of food, coin, or wood), those same 99 villagers will generate 4.9 export per second (99 * 0.03 * 1.65). That is approximately 294 export per minute.

This will cost you 10% in resources. So let’s say you have all 99 villagers on wood with no wood chopping upgrades for simplicity. Wood gathers at 0.5 per second so a 10% penalty to the base value will gather at 0.45 per second. 99 villagers would normally gather 2,970 wood in 1 minute and with the penalty would gather 2,673, a difference of 297. Not a bad trade off (297 wood for 294 export), especially since market upgrades can cancel this out and the power of these shipments.

Is this math correct or am I missing something?

I forgot to ask, can you list the Age each of these shipments is available?

Also, what level does your HC have to be to be able to ally with each of these civs?

I was curios over the factory wagon that Russia may provide china with.

Is this little fellow able to produce Heavy Cannon? In that case china would have a nice little playmate for their slowly produced Crows. Guess getting it in Age4 still sucks though.

Q: How do I get veteran skirms as the dutch?
- you have to buy the upgrade in the the barracks lol it should be under the skimiser logo. -you have to be in age3 to get veteran and age 4 to get guard.
After realizing they get automatically upgraded:
- o right i play brits so i just guessed.....thats slighly embarrasing lol
