Actually, 12 pm is noon or midday. It's a common mistake. Once I was driving by a pizza parlor and it said open from 11 am to 12 pm, and I was like, oh they're only open one hour a day!

No such thing as 12 pm (or 12 am), in England anyway. It's 12.00 or 12 noon, and 24.00 or midnight.
