ive heard alot of people on the forum speak of the iroquis as an under-powered civilisation and i really don't agree. fully upgraded mantlets:
1 pop
75 wood and 125 coin
980 HP
61 Att 10 range
121 siege
0.5RR
3.85 speed.
also the cannons when fully upgraded:
3 pop
100 wood and 300coin
343 HP (im not sure about this one)
154 att 2x infantry, 3x buildings, 3x ships and 2x artillery at 32 range!!
0.75 RR (again, im not sure about this)
3.3 speed when attacking or moving which means they can retreat from other attacking cannons.
also, after the card that allows the firepit to boost buildings combat abilities and with 25 villies on the firepit, all buildings hitpoints are increased BY 185 % and attack by 85%. this means that walls have about 25000 hitpoints as do towncentres, and the ouposts/ barracks have 18000 (not sure about this) hitpoints and 100 attack.
so it seems to me that the iroquis are extremely good at turtling and defending and have a very powerful siege army that can overrun all armies, even cavalry and cannons. the only downside to the civ are their fairly moderate infantry, weak hand cavalry and their late game dependance on wood.
so what does everyone else think of the iroquis and why?
