How come whenever you see an opponent, you can see each of his units health and stats. However, you cannot count how many units he has massed unless your willing to count 1 by 1. On the flip side, you can see how many units youve massed, but the stats and health(aside from bar) is masked.

When you select one of your own units hold down alt and you can see its health and other stats.
And it would be too easy to tell when you are going to win or lose a fight if you knew exactly how many units the enemy had :P

Yeah, I think what Jim said was exactly right. Also, if you think about it, realistically officers could estimate the enemy forces, but never quite know for sure, just like you can in the game.

put the screem from the standard resolution to the large resolution. It means you can see the HP, stats AND commands all in the same area.

Enable Minimized UI. That way you'll be able to see everything except speed.
