Doesn't look like AOE3 supports making custom campaigns files (.xml or .cpn like in AOM/TT).
Remember in AOM/TT the main menu let you access the campaigns, then use a pull down menu to open custom campaign (.cpn) files. No such feature it looks like in AOE3. The current main menu only lets you load the Blood Ice Steel campaign or the tutorial. This is not good news. How do people release custom campaigns? AT first look it seems early custom campaign releases may have to either just load as scenarios through the main menu, or be modded whereby the original Blood Ice Steel.xml is replaced with the mod version, then removed. All done manually by the person who DLs the custom campaign. In other words, no easy way to create nice custom campaign screens.
Anyone else find this in their exploration of the game content, and any solutions?

Not entirly true, designers will just have to create small install programs. Whereby the user chooses the install directory of his/her gaem then the installer does the rest. Wont be that hard at all...

Installing isn't what he was talking about, he is talking about you have to replace one of the campaigns already in the game to put in a custom campaign.
