Hi, nobody has talked a lot about this and I am wondering if the promised river current is one of the features ES has promised but kicked out or if rivers indeed flow. If they do, do objects in the water, ie boats or logs get transported by the flowing water? I don't have the game, so maybe someone who does can answer this question.

When placing a river, it does show the direction it will flow in, but it isn't very obvious graphically when playing the game what way it's headed, and no, boats won't drift along on the current.

I'm glad they don't.. Nobody wants to babysit their boats from flowing down the river. They could have an anchor I guess, but.. Easier not to let a 300 ton boat float down a stream I guess.

And any other objects? It could be cool for cinematics. Or what reason does the current have to be simulated?

And can you set the ammount of riples?

I'd guess that it's just in there to simulate realism.
Although it's only possible to see the current in the editor.
And no, there is no way to set the amount of ripples.

Numerous objects can be placed in the water, like rocks, and 'the fountian of youth'. And yes, you can drag land objects and put them in the river, just like in AoM.

They have been showing off how they are able to make the water stormy and all stuff like that. It looked cool. Another good feature they have kicked away? Damn... Or are there water types?
