They really are alot of messing around with. I think they made this one alittle more friendlier than the AOM one, but not much..
Best way to start, throw down 1 unit, 1 building, and an enemy randomly across the map. Thats how I learned.
Then, make him move to that building. In a nutshell..
Condition: Pretty much the condition underwhich he moves. Under default, its "always". That means he will always move to that spot when that trigger is activated. Thats the easiest way.
Effect: This happens AFTER the condition is set off. Its what the unit/building actually does.. Like for making him move. You will use the effect "Move to point". Click the unit for a "source unit", then click show unit to make sure you have the right guy selected. Then you will select an area for him to move, to/near the house.. you'll click 'set area' and you'll get a flag.. he'll walk to that area now. Then click 'show area' to make sure you have the right spot.
Thats as easy as you'll get. Thats how I learned, with something simple, then expand on it. Make a few units move there at a time. Then mess around with the dozens of other triggers and conditions. I wouldn't quite worry about camera shots and cinematic mode yet.. I think I finally got it figured it, its alot of trial and error.
