I haven't found a work around so far and yeah the arty defaulting to limber mode on spawn is annoying. I've tried the stances and they do squat. I had to turn cinematic blocks into arty pieces then use a "unit work" effect on the cinematic blocks to make the arty attack something that was already on the map. Of course if you don't have something on the map at spawn, that solutions is forked. I had a fast look at the tactics files but I don't see anything in there that defines what stance the arty assumes on spawn. There must be a definition somewhere and hopefully it's not hard coded. Maybe we should look in the Wiki to see if anyone has posted a solution, otherwise, just another thing we have struggle with. Go figure, why design arty to spawn and just sit there?
