This term is found in triggers, especially the modify protounit effect. Does anyone know what it means? Also, what kind of operation does it use to modify unit stats? (Eg. +, =, *, /)

The delta is confusing, since for hit points it's just parity (you put 100 in there and it adds 100 hit points), but for speed and other things it is a % multiplier (2 = 200% or double).
No operations although I can't remember if you put say "- 100" for hit points that it subtracts 100 hit points. It might.

You can use the "-" operation to subtract from the stats of a unit. I don't know about * or / because I've never tried them... I don't see a use for them.

In mathematical terms, delta x = x2 - x1, aka the eventual value minus the original value. So when you enter a positive delta value, it is added to the original value (which is known) to get the new value. A negative delta means that the original value is bigger than the eventual value. So if you enter a negative delta, the delta is substracted from the original value to get the new value.
A condition is not a trigger. An effect is not a trigger. A trigger is a combination of one or more conditions and effects. It causes effects to happen if and when conditions are met. Period.
