This is a very nice game editor guide.
I spent a lot of time going through FAQ and reading through it.
However, I still have a few questions.
How do I set the difficulty level for the AI to “Hard”?
Do I do that by selecting the appropriate AI from the list of AI’s or do I use the “Difficulty Level” condition?
I use the AILOADERSTANDARD AI, but sometimes the difficulty level shows “Medium” and sometimes the level is set to “Hard”.
Does anyone know why this happens?
I haven’t seen a basic guide on how to make the AI to train settlers, build buildings, and train units.
Do I need any triggers for that beside the “AI Start” trigger near the TC?
Initially, when I started with may map without any triggers, the AI worked (train settlers, build buildings, and train units).
However, it did not train fishing boats or any other ships from the pre-built dock.
It didn’t build any additional docks either.
So, how do I make the AI build additional docks and train fishing boats and ships?
When I added the “AI FUNC” trigger and “UNIT WORK”, then the AI stopped training settlers and build building (although the existing settlers do collect resources).
Later on when I removed all the triggers, the AI still didn’t function, so what is the deal with that?
I therefore need a simple guide on how to have “Hard” AI that train settlers, build buildings, train fishing boats/ships, and train units.
Winning conditions did not work for me either.
I tried the “YOU WIN” and “YOU LOOSE” effect on the all “dead buildings” condition but it doesn’t work.
I also tried to use a “Ghost Army” that shows up after 6 minutes, but my ghost army showed right away.
What would be the right steps to make it work properly?
Any help would be appreciated.
