First of all, I'm new at MOD's, and I would like you guys to ask some questions of mine.Well, I see you people work a lot with textures, and I got no idea how you make one(you gotta use photoshop, right?) and no idea how you apply this to buildings. Two: is it possible to create 3-D models of buildings using some program like "Blender 3D"?Thanks

Don't touch the files proto/techtree{number}.XMB - these are the patch versions of data files - keep them as backup.
Use the normal proto/techtree.XML for editing (resp. ..X,Y for TWC/TAD).

Is your forum search function disabled?
The texture files are in Art\art#.bar (suffix .ddt)
The assignment of model->texture is in the .gr2 model file itself (you can examine with GrannyViewer). It can be changed inside the anim file with the <replacetexture> instruction.

quick answer: No
A silly question. How should it work?
You can only merge several anims together in one file.

*argh* Are we clairvoyants? How should someone know what you did wrong, if you not even describe what you edited or added?
