The code is from TAD, You can change gold to what ever resources you like, and you can change the amount. When this tech is researched, instantly the resources will go in your inventory.
Unless someone finds some clever way to do it with trickles combined with triggers, its impossible to make a tech that costs resources to buy resources that doesn't require units to gather from the resource crates.Yes, it can be done easily with triggers, and in multiple ways too.
