Hey guys,
Mike here again. I came into a brick wall today trying to mod the art of a IGC unit that I wanted to changed and I found a bug I dont know how to handle.
Basically I am trying to use Tokugawa horse for a HD unit I created (a mounted samurai) and I was editing the file. However, when I was editing the alpha channel for the playercolor, somehow the game does not recognize the playercolor, even if I put all the parts of the unit that I want the playercolor in total white.
I checked the tutorials and topics around and somehow I didnt find any answers or how to resolve such problem. Maybe there is not such topic around.
I am using PS6 and I while the .ddt file is totally fine and ready, when trying to edit the alpha channel so I can see some playercolors in game, nothing happens. The unit is still like normal, meaning, it shows my edited texture all good, but no playercolor whatsoever. I checked the .tga numbers to see if I was doing something wrong but nada, everything was normal, even the bump file too.
I would appreciate if anyone can help me out on this. If there is a simple tutorial about that (besides the basic tutorial everyone knows and the one from Mister SCP) please let me know. Otherwise, if someone can tell me here is even better.
Last point, I HAVE NO IDEA how to make transparent in editing texture. Can anyone tell me how?? I noticed it in the Tokugawa art, and I wanna make it to some units I have.
Thanks for the help.
