You need to have in deck at least these:
I age: Furrier
II age: 8x xbow, 3x horse, 600Food, 700Food, 600Gold&/700Gold, (2nd hunting bonus card if wanted)
Build-up:
Collect crates
Build one house
All villies on hunting (one at some point cutting wood)
Get the Furrier card (hunting +20%)
Around 11-12 pop hit Classical, choose the 500 Wood.
Build one house. (now u got 30 pop limit)
1-3 villagers on gold, rest on hunting.
You have scouted all the map. And hopefully collected one or two good treasures (that's food/gold)
Look for good hunt. When u hit classical around 4:30, use your gold villies and wood villies near TC to pick up those wood crates asap.
Now where u got the good hunt, move most of your villies there hunting and cutting wood. At that place build TWO barracks when u've picked up the 500W.
Get the 8X bow card, move all xbow near the barracks.
Pump out musketeers from the two barracks simultaneously exploiting the queue function. When u have resources only for two musketeers u can queue one in both of the barracks. And when u get enough resources, ouh well, u got 10 musketeers coming out Use the 700/600Food card or 700/600Gold cards in the order u need the resources most. Keep 1-3 villagers on wood in order to support house production. You should soon have a big army of 8xbow and many musketeers. If you know how to use them, your enemy will be toast. This strategy relies on: NOTE: Do NOT use this against Russians or Dutch cause they got too good counters to musketeers in classical. Strelets and Skirms counter muskets so well, that u want to forget this against them.
managing good early economy
500W ->
French hunting boosted with Furrier
queue function exploitation (those 700F/700G crates arrive while u've queued only one musketeer on both barracks, but u get up to 10 musketeers
good scouting
getting some treasures
good defense (u hunt near two barracks, mine gold near your tc)
