build the minimum amount of longbows necessary to keep jans from running wild killing vills and buildings, age up send the 2 falc card and use them to blow apart his abus. you'll probably end up losing the falcs, but not before taking out many of them that your longbows can win easily.

brit turtling w/ LBs is surprisingly effective with well placed towers and your LBs back far enough. against an otto rush, its all a matter of holding on until his resource shipments run out. of course, if you happen to find his FB before it goes up or if he's dumb enough to put up the rax and make jans before the art for abus, you'll have a much easier time as you can go on the offensive.

To stop jans melleeing lbows you can build a wall and a gate (like it says in that wall topic) for 150 wood and keep walking through the gate and shooting him. The best thing to do though is to have the minimum number of lbows to stop his rush killing you while you send 10lbows after his villies (10 lbows kills a villie in one shot). The ottos havepowerful units but a really crap economy at this stage in the game, and rely on crates to fuel their rush. If you kill some of his villagers and survive until his crates are gone, you have pretty much won. I would just watch out for him FFing and getting spahi.
