Yeah, he's normally not this good at non-scripted speaking. But I guess when all he hears is the same dialog heard before, it isn't too hard to come back with a comment he's already used.
I really don't get one thing though. Obama needs to come out and say in plain and simple language:
The Healthcare System has problems X, Y, Z...
We have implementing solutions 1,2,3...
Explain how those will fix the problems in simple language, and then move on from there.
(and it wouldn't hurt to show that other nations that have implemented similar systems are in fantastic shape.)
He could do the same for every major set of problems he has, economy, healthcare, Afghanistan, etc.
Sometimes I think he's too caught up in the soaring speeches and in guarding himself from Republican attacks than he is in communicating. Campaign Obama was quite blunt at times, and that worked well. So, I'd like to see President Obama do the same.
