i dont think we will be seeing any tanks in this game although in the ign preview it said it goes up to the industriel age and the timeframe goes from 1492-1849

Actually calvary were important in world war 1 for more reason than tanks. 1 tanks wernt even reliable at that time most of them would simple bust down our were made out of cheap metals. 2 they appeared to late in the war to have any real signifcance. 3 Calvary divisons were still comon in world war 1 armies.

The Holy Roman Empire isn't the same as Austria. Only one elector was Austrian, and when Austria became an empire in its own right under the Habsburgs, not all of it was part of the Holy Roman Empire. Good grief, the Habsburgs at their peak controlled Spain, the Netherlands, parts of Italy, Hungary, and parts of the Balkans. None of this was part of the Holy Roman Empire.
