It will be interesting to see what plans ES has got PR wise.
AOM, we had our screeny a week, a few movies, the planning of the opening movie and the customary Gamespot Civ Spotlights.
Hopefully this time around we may see more.
Unit Spotlights
Technology spotlights
Age Spotlights
BIG PUBLIC BETA
Campaign Spotlight, info about characters background etc
Editor Spotlight, a few details about the editor, whats new etc
Map Spotlight
Building Spotlight
Of course Im not saying all these desires should be fulfilled, we need something exciting to find once we're in the game but itd be great if we got a little bit extra than the monthly gamespot civ showcase
Any hints ES?

I'm certainly hoping they do the civ spotlights like in the past. I really enjoyed those.

Yeah, I'd like Civ Spotlights and Weekly Screenshots. I still remember getting up early on Monday's during the summer, and refreshing the ES site every 5 minutes. Then, when it still wasn't up by 10 am, I'd go on the AoMH forums and rant. Good times...

Ahhh, good indeed, just out of interest sake, how many others here followed AOM from the Early days?

The day I found Heavengames was the day of AoM's announcement.

I was with AoM from when it was known only as RTS3. Back then, we thought we'd be getting AoE3...

Me . I had been coming here occasionally since the days of RoR, but I didn't join HG until May 2000, a few months before the release of AoC. That was the first pre-release campaign I followed closely. I've been here for all subsequent ones, including the excrutiatingly long wait for AoM.

Yeh AOM was a long wait, but it was worth it when I got my hands on my VIP Alpha I do hope they dont postpone aoe3 an extra year or so....
