I got tired of so much arguments and debates about a game which is at least 6 months away...
Please answer in chronological order you played the games not the games release date. If u like post some comments about each game too. If u like don't post expanions it will get too long. Dont consider simulations as stategy games :P
mine are :
Red Alert 1 : I really enjoyed that! I was around 8-9
Civilization 2 : I used a lot the in-game cheating function!
Aoe1 : Level up in RTS!
Aoe2 : two years ago i used to spend 5 hours/day
EE1 : didn;t amaze me
warcraft 3 : very different from age series, too much micro, nice graphics, great online system
AoM : good, but not as AoC
C&C Generals : mediocre, Zero hour made it much better
Rise of Nations : too long games, complex, boring multiplayer, nice single player
Warcraft 2 HAHaha, that was nice graphics and sound!
Wh40: Dawn of War : Very good with excellent gaphics and sound, but didn;t have enough to time to spend on. Online system could be better.
LOTR: Battle for middle earth Nice ideas, becomes boring after a while, very similar to Generals
EE2 demo : As long as i have in mind the graphics and gameplay of Aoe 3 i can't spend time on any other new RTS!
Anw it seems to complex, and i don't like mixing all ages in one. (eg. stone age to information age, or wtv!)
Currently i' am playing:
-AoC once in every 2 weeks (once means around 2 hours playtime)
-AoM once a month or less :P
-Wc3:Frozen Throne twice in a week.
My descriptiosn were brief of course, otherwise i would write a book :P
Most fun: AoC 4v4 with friends.
