When a game is released here in England its usually around £49.99, at least for PC games. For console games its about £39.99 at initial release. AOM was about £29.99 i think.

Most adventure games come out less than $30... Longest Journey, Syberia, Black Mirror, etc. Then again, it's a different market.

Expansions don't really count for obvious reasons. Games have always been priced around the same, and really the fact that you can get it for 45 from Amazon is really cheap, so I think that's really cool, HL2 even though I didn't have to pay for it(video card not piracy don't even speak)was like 55-60 I think and Doom3 I thought I remember was 55 or 60. At least there's one thing in society with consistent prices. Grumble grubmel Mr. Fuelman.

aok vs aoe3 = $20 more in australia, but then again that is because of GST, although the pay off there is cheaper hardware so go figure.
