Guys, let's be real. You can't possibly have a game that covers WW1 to the Vietnam era. There are so many diplomatic and political changes within that little time period to say, "Yeah, so the Ottomans became victorious in WW1, and remained the Ottoman Empire as they entered WW2, conquered Germany and went on to develop new weapons (which we can't even mention because they never existed), and they conquered other nations during the "Vietnam era"... which we shouldn't even call the "Vietnam era" because the Ottomans didn't even touch Vietnam and Vietnam only partains to the United States, the French and, I believe, the British."
It's just not realistic. In fact, it's not even realistic to have a game that covers WW1 to WW2 because of similar reasons. The Ottoman Empire was not in existance during WW2, as well as a few other countries, such as Serbia. Could you imagine played the game and booming in Age 1 or 2 with horsemen while your opponent is rushing to Age 3 or 4 to get their T-34's, M.26's, M4's, Panzerjagers, Jagdpanzers, Jagdtigers, Chi-Nus, Chi-Hes, etc.? It would be unrealistic and very unbalanced.
It would be easier and more realistic to cover only WW2. Not only that, but it would be much more fun as well.
The major countries that you could use for WW2 would be the following: Germany, Soviet Union, United States of America, United Kingdom, France, Japan, Canada, Czechoslavokia, Poland, Italy, Sweden, Hungary, Australia, and Romania. That's 14 nations.
(I know there were more nations involved. I'm just mentioning the major allies of the Axis and Allied powers.)
