They annoy me. They are usually worthless and a waste of time/micromanagement. Yet, I feel obligated to get them. :|

i generally ignore them ,unless i find one that has no guardian, for if they are guarded its not worth the trouble.

The XP ones are awesome - gets you that first level maybe 20-30 seconds earlier. There's no reason to ignore them, first age economics isn't _that_ demanding.

treasures are very nice. witha little patience and your explorer you can collect up 235 resources in age 1. that's better than a villager will do in the same aqmount of time.

Getting wood treasures is something I rely on. I never chop wood in the first age, and my strategy requires I use my explorer to find me some extra wood, if he can't, I'll have to waste a shipment on 300 wood.

I think they're pretty valuable if you're planning to rush early on, but later in the game, the amount of material you receive from each one is trivial.

I thought they were annoying at first because it is kind of cheesy but it gives you something to do in the early game.

some of them are extremely helpful early in the game some of them are worth 300 of a resource which is great in the discovery age

40 coin can really help when you're trying to research an early tech or need that extra boost of wood. The later treasures, the ones for like 300 gold, are really useful if you get 5 musketeers to help your explorer. It's just a test of micro and early-game boredrum cure.

I collect the treasures that my explorer manages to get by himself in the start. I don't bother with collecting the heavily guarded ones.
