This is your best reason you can come up with for not building more than one Blockhouse?
When did i ever say i would choose 2 blockhouse over a fort?
Why dont people build outpost?? I do all the time.
Maybe i dont have the outpost wagon card in my deck and use recource card instead, so im more flexible.
Mist - "Also, rarely do people raid you if you're raiding them, so you don't really need blockhouses for defense."
I never mentioned Blockhouse for defense, i mentioned it for map control. What are you gonan build near gold mines or valuble portions of the map for map control? A town center? 600 wood is valuable early fortress and u cant build one in colonial. The Blockhouse is your only real viable option with Russia.
Also, when i play im like James Toney. Im a counter type player, i like to make moves after my opponent does. I most definetly attack when my enemy attacks, i think it is effective because he is concentrating on his units trying to kill your base while your back door units are killing shit at his base.
