Unit and building changes:

·Exported HCAdvancedMarket fix.
·MercenaryLoyaltyGerman removed effect that lowers wallenstein contracts price.
·Yeomen - Added +4 maximum range to longbowman stagger and defend attacks.
·Cav archer cost changed from 45f 115g to 100f 60g
·Cavalry Archers, Dragoons, War Wagons, Manchu, BlackRider, ·Commanchee Horse Archer now get 2.0x damage vs abstract artillery
·Conquistador card now improves wardogs attack and hitpoints 20% instead of increasing limit. Changed rollover help.

* Fixed exploit that allowed more then 20 cards in ESO decksustom game setup now shows if a game is rated, not rated, no XP

Yay!

- Now Germans starts looks bad(3 SW instead of settler).

- 4 cuirs to 3 WTF! At least Spain and German get nerfed.

- -1 settler Spain YAY!

- Ruyter,Dragoon,WW... do 2.0 dam to abstract artillery(whats abstract artellery? Abus Gun?)

- Mamelukes and Ronin cost to 1000G YAY they look more usable now.

- -1 BR and Mandchu YAY!

- Rocket boosted!

- Longbow boosted!

- -2 Highlander YAY!

Results:

- Fortress unit(normal and mercs) card got badly nerfed = Weaker FF but still viable.

- FF+Mercs = Weakened.

- Spain and Germany got a slower start = Weaker early games and FF.

- I will be able to play French, Dutch and British without being WTFPWNED by Spain or Germans OP FF.

Abstract artillery includes Falconets, Culverins, Heavy Cannons, Rockets and Organ Guns.

This is really the only thing I don't like about this patch. Now every Light Cav unit is almost exactly like a Ruyter. These units will probably become OP now (yeah, I know BR were always OP). Hussars and other heavy cav will become completely obsolete after this patch.

Post 1.06 why train a heavy cav?
1. People will be more likely to have lots of light cav so the heavy cav will be countered.
2. You don't need heavy cav to take out artillery anymore because light cav will do it so well.
3. The only real usefulness of heavy cav now is raiding and killing massed LI.
4. Light cav can do both of those jobs effectively so what is the point of training heavy cav?

Any comments?

EDIT: Go Brits!!! I predict the brits will be the new strongest civ, but not by much. I think there will be excellent civ balance after this patch.

Thats the stupid thing on that patch. WW is the new OP unit, about 150 attack to cannon o_O

EDIT: I think French will become more stronger than 1.05 but less than 1.04. Because they still got -1 CdB but Spain and Germany got badly nerfed and France > Spain and Germany in colonial with those amazing native.

Russian was greatly boosted indirectly in this patch. Cavalry archers will be a great asset now when playing, since they can take out both heavy cavalry and cannons. Now, the usage of Cossacks will be limited for raiding.

Another interesting boost is that age3 cards that were lowered for most civilizations were not touched for the Russians. This will keep the same value of units. And they did get most of their age4 military shipments improved.

I am seeing a more balanced game now. From the patch notes, Spain, Germany, France, British, Turkey, Portugal, Russians and Dutch are more similar now.

Overall I like it. I still think the FF will be a little bit to powerful, but before I play it i will withold my judgement. I guess as long as they are willing to patch quickly it is better to undernerf it than overnerf it.

    I'm confused about this one:

    But in the itemized list it says the exact opposite:

    Overall this patch pwns aside from the organ guns.

    Finally, longbows, cav archers, and rockets are worth building.

    I found it interesting how ES specificaly responded to the complaint about the winged hussars.

    Other than that, good patch all around.

    organ gun got nerfed because you see everything else now worth 800~1000 now, wheres before they worth 1000~1200(whose that people actually use)

    2 organ guns is enough to beat 9 rods.

    This patch was totally unexpected 4 me, i didnt expect so many balance changes.

    -1 settler for Spain sucks, they def are alot worse now, considering german still get 4 settler (2 wagon) shipment in age 1 and 6 in age 2, where as Spain still gets 3 and 5 respectively.

    Im tottally syked about British improvements, the Longbow will see MUCH more action now, and alot of peopel will start to pick Britian becuz of thier late game Rockets! (now are almost as good as HC)

    I also dont liek the light cav bonus to artillery. I dont think it will have that much effect tho, becuz Light ranged cav usually have little attack, plus cannon still got 75% range resist, so Heavy Cav will still always kill artillery better.

    I think best civs are DRASTICALLY going to change, tho for the better. Without even playing 1.06 i think its gonna kinda look like this.

    Very close tho... its kinda hard to make a best to worse civ list, this is good news!

    EDIT: French has to be somewhere near the top of the list. Germany and Spain both lost a villie, which puts them back on course with France, who was better in 1.04 IMO.
