I just lost a game and I'm not particularly bitter, but I would like to know how to do better in my next game.
I'm facing a russian opponent who produces no units but strelects, but does it quite well, never letting up the pressure. I thought i was doing well, building artillery and hussiars (playing dutch) to kill them, but soon i find them to be too overwhelming to beat the masses of strelets, what should I do the next time I face massive armies of strelets in the 3rd age?

Ender, You need to play Russia as you make the claim that Russia beats Dutch.
The onus is on you to demonstrate (and prove) your claim about Russia.

Ender play a few games of russia vs dutch and you'll see what I mean. The dutch drops 3/4 banks and a few outposts, a combination of a few skirms and minutemen will make a rush impossible. Because of how slow russia is now, you can get the banks up early enough. And if he decides to boom in the background (russian boom is now only 40% faster than normal vills..) then you go fortress, mass falcs.
If you want to prove that russia still own dutch, you should play russia. None of this "I hate russia" stuff, it just makes you look like you know you're wrong.

Actually I don't have to do anything I don't want to.
Me playing Russia, by the way, would prove absolutely nothing since the last I used them was 6 months ago for a single game on ESO with a level 1 HC. Someone EXPERIENCED with Russia and someone EXPERIENCED with Dutch must participate in the test. I can fulfill only one of those requirements.

I can't PLAY Russians (or anything besides Ottoman, Spanish and Dutch, civs that have workarounds the standard economic crap, as I've recently become convinced). I have no recent experience with Russians (a bunch of games on LAN a year ago don't count). How the hell am I supposed to prove anything with them in this case? There many civs I am not good with and never will be. Me playing them would prove absolutely nothing.
And me hating the civ is really beside the point.

Well, I'm happy to play Russians... I don't think it will be as beneficial as if Ender did but anyways...

The only problem is that it has to be someone that agrees Russia is still better than Dutch in Warchiefs. It sounds like you don't.
I know Russia used to wipe the floor with Dutch in vanilla, but so much has changed about both civs now. The game has changed yet again... they're definitely keeping it fresh. Russia seems like a shadow of its former self, but I have done so very little with either civ in Warchiefs.

I don't think russia owns dutch but I think they have a good chance against dutch if you know their weaknesses. You want to play me somme?

Both MNBob and TheRomans are correct. I pulled out and ran both Vanilla AoE3 and TWC.
In Vanilla: Strelets build in ~22 seconds
In TWC: Strelets build in ~32 seconds
