Adam,
Yes your 62 games as Ottoman in TWC definitely entitle you to an opinion. A wrong and highly biased one, but sure, you are entitled to it.
And as for me not playing other civs enough to know how they work, now there's a good laugh. In vanilla, I've played more games with Dutch than you have played with any other "secondary" civ aside from Ottomans. I've played as many games with Spain as you have with Germany, and more than any other of your civs aside from Ottoman again.
In TWC, I've played more games with my "secondary" civ, Dutch, than you have played with any one of your secondary civs.
So don't talk to me about experience with other civs.
Fact: Ottomans are far from being all about protecting Abus with Jans (which is what your post implied).
Fact: I've experienced plenty of micro different from Jan/Abus in playing other civs.
Fact: I've played Dutch at a time when the best unit you had was a Falconet in Fortress and Skirmisher in Colonial. So tell me again how "lazy" micro is all people like me (Ottoman players) know.
Fact: I've played Spanish during the reign of War Wagons. Tell me again how I needed no micro to fight the Germans then.
Now I may be biased in favour of Ottomans, but you are so unbelievably biased against them that it's just disgusting. And you take every single opportunity to show it on two different forums. You and The_Demon should get it over with already and form an Ottoman hater club.
Oh and speaking of lazy micro ... you sure needed some crazy micro while laming with Iroquois for most of your TWC "career", eh? And you have the nerve to tell somebody else about ease of play ... ha!
