The Sioux are a fast attacking, hard hitting, surprising civilization with a few tricks up its sleeve. Their fortress is impressive and Industrial is at par as well.
Cavalry and Raiding- The Sioux cavalry are the most impressive in the game. Sioux shipments of cavalry are excellent as well. Using this fast, mobile force, the Sioux can hit hard, fast.
Early Game- While weak in the early minutes of the game, the Sioux flourish between the middle minutes. Once the Sioux player can pump out Cetan bows or bow riders, or gets to fortress, he will be difficult to take down.
Siege Dance - Can easily be a game ender.
Late Game- With the lack of walls late game, it is extremely hard for the Sioux player to remain competitive in a game lasting past late industrial barring an economic advantage. Their raids will lose effectiveness once walls are set up.
Economy- With the many advantages of a good military, come the disadvantage of economy. With very little villager shipments and no specific villager economy bonus, it is difficult for the Sioux to compete with booming Brits or turtling Dutchies.
Bow Riders- The Elite anti cavalry of the Sioux, bow riders are strong enough to defeat heavy infantry at times as well.
Axe Riders- Main hand cavalry. Strong hand attack and great hit points leave axe riders high on the charts of hand cavalry everywhere.
Wakina Rifles- Far from their cheap, strong selves of the original patch, wakinas are still very good all around units, and a Fast Fortress around these guys is very viable.
4 Axe Riders- Though nerfed in the fan patch, the four axe rider card is well worth it to be in any Sioux players' deck.
3 Dog Soldiers- A good first card in fortress, seeing as you might not have the time to upgrade the axe riders.
Evening Star - Immediately changes your army - big bang for just one card.
