How do you create a custom map for multiplayer with the scenario editor like in AOE2??? I think it has to be a XS file format but how do you create that in the scenario editor??????

You edit the .xs file, open an .xs or .xml file up and look at it, you will understand.
oh you can wait for what I can give you know what I am so you know how I live try to look proud but you’re not in the slightest its happening now and it’s always been like this.

I think you're talking about RM (random map) scripts which create a certain theme, then add random elements so the maps won't be the same all the time. There are RM folders both in the game files proper and in the My Documents files so custom maps aren't that hard to add. It's not my thing, but best advise I can give is check through the forums and design library at AOM Heaven for information about RM scripting. Much of the techniques used to create mods for AOM transfer to AOE3. Otherwise be patient, information about working in AOE3 will trickle in slowly as people get to know the game and how to mod it.
Downloading other people's projects and picking them apart helps to learn how they're made also.
