In the trigger efect list there is an efect labled: "render fog" that should work.

To be honest, i dont know. Fog was not included in the demo because it isn't in the proto file; i checked. But since it doesn't appear to cover everything in that image then i would assume its the same as the mist object in AOM, a partially transparent object that units can walk through, like the mist from AOM.

No modern game can render fog like that... And in that image the fog covers everything, its density just increases with distance. Like a real fog. Even in the demo you have fog in the deep canyons in the campaign mission 1.

So it's shader effect I guess. And yep, there seems to be a fog object too.

it would make sense for fog to be an object. objects are things that are 3d and you see them by the effect they have on the lighting. for instance, a man is covered by textures which reflect lighting of certain colors. the fog is an object which allows light to go through it but absorbs more and more light as it goes through, therefore it's an object.
